My Summer Beauty Favs

Don't let the heat wear you.

When it comes to Summer I like an effortless look, because a few hours in the heat I want whatever I do to last. Less touch ups as possible.

Here's a small list of items I'm currently obsessing over this season.



Ouai - Wave Spray
I've seen and felt the difference between this spray & hairspray. It's super lightweight, with incredible hold, the nozzle is great, and honestly you don't need to over-do it with the sprays. I've found 2-3 sprays onto the hair works best, and I have short/shoulder length hair. If you do more it won't get crunchy like hairspray does, you can just feel the product in the hair and it makes the hair heavy and slightly sticky. It has super lasting power, I used to give myself waves and they'd flatten out throughout the day and it somehow locks onto the hair and stays! You're not going to have crisp curls but more the "beachy" look.

H2O+Beauty - Illuminating Serum
I've been using this since the start of the season to get my inner glow on! I really wanted a product to help bring radiance into my look for the season, so I look fresh (without necessarily feeling it hah) and little  did I know this magic serum would help my skin as well!

Benefit - Gimme Brow
So, I normally do not do my brows due to laziness and thinking "why bother they're brows" and this product has changed my life. It's a fiber gel that brings volume and pigment. Also its super easy! No fuss with a pencil or pomade.

Benefit - BeneBalm
I have been a SUPER FAN of this product for a long time. It smells like roses and the way this product is formulated it's so sweet and delicious. It's doesn't stain the lips just tints and hydrates them. I've found it isn't very nourishing after repeated use. I do not substitute this for my lip balm, I use it as a topper giving your lips a fresh rosey natural finish.

Colourpop - Ultra Satin Lipstick - Rêver
Anyone else a Kathleen Lights fan? When I saw her coming out with an orange lippie it had to be mine. The new formulated matte lips are so comfortable to wear! My lips are not crying out of dehydration. And I'm telling you, Orange is the mood of summer. Red may be classic, just doesn't scream "I got flavor".

Lorac - Bronzer - Tan Lines
Short Storytime... I have been using Benefits 'Hoola' for ages and I wanted to try something new and
I got overwhelmed with all in the store and the reviews online so I went with a brand I also know well because I have buttloads of their highlighters. This product is great, I would say it's warmer than hoola, and it's so smooth and buttery. I've had it for about a month and been going at it furiously and impressed there's barely a dent made.

Lorac - Highlighter - Daylight
Do you like my subtle photoshop? Why are photographing highlighters so difficult? Lorac's powders are known to be buildable, and the glow you can build is BLINDING. This warm highlight is perfect for the summer with its delicious golden tone, getting you hyped for the sun .
